A real classic ALAN Competition Strada bicycle ready for L'Eroica

Alan was one of the first frame builders using aluminium to build racing frames. The reputation of Alan´s frame was already notable in the 1970s, since the tubes were screwed and glued into aluminium lugs. The first application was related to the cyclocross frames, later the road ones.This frame is indeed made of Alan aluminium tubes and is furthermore equipped with a Campagnolo group set and with pantographed Barale parts. Despite it is not made of steel, this Alan is allowed to participate in L´Eroica (see beneath).
Condition: Used but perfect. Original paintwork and decals.
No dents, no cracks. All parts are in super shape.

BICI EROICHE are all road racing bikes built up to and including 1987 both with or without gears, such as those built in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. These bicycles most likely have a steel frame, but other types of rare frames are also permitted, such as the aluminium frames built by Alan and Vitus with screwed or glued joints and the Exxon Graftek frames of the late 1970s with carbon tubes glued to aluminium lugs.
